Visa Free Countries for Schengen Visa Holders

If you are holding Schengen Visa, you can enter many of the Non-Schengen countries, either by obtaining visa on arrival, or by obtaining visa online before traveling. However, customized requirements for some nationalities also exist, as described below:

  • Albania:  90 days stay for holders of C type or D type multiple entry Schengen Visa. The visa holder must have entered one of the Schengen states before at least one time.

  • Antigua and Barbuda:   30 days stay.  US$ 100 visa waiver fee payable by the traveler. 

  • Belarus:   3 days stay only and for Chinese nationals only.

  • Bulgaria:  90 days stay for the holders of C type double or multiple-entry Schengen visa.

  • Bosnia and Herzegovina: 15 days stay for multiple-entry Schengen visa holders.

  • Croatia:  90 days stay for holders of C type double or multiple-entry Schengen visa.

  • Cyprus:  90 days stay for holders of C type double or multiple-entry Schengen visa.

  • Costa Rica: 30 days stay for holders of multiple entry Schengen visa.

  • Colombia:  90 days stay for holders of any type Schengen visa.

  • Dominican Republic: 90 days stay for holder of any type Schengen visa.

  • El Salvador:  90 days stay but not for all nationalities. Please check with El Salvador immigration office or embassy/consulate in your country to find out.

  • Gibraltar: 21 days stay allowed but not for all nationalities. Contact Gibralter immigration office or embassy/consulate in your country to find out if you're exempted from their visa.

  • Georgia: 90 days stay for holders of any type Schengen visa.

  • Guatemala: 90 days stay but not for all nationalities. Contact Guatemala immigration office or embassy/consulate in your country to find out if you're exempted from their visa.

  • Honduras:  90 days stay but not for all nationalities. Contact Honduras immigration office or embassy/consulate in your country to find out if you're exempted from their visa.

  • Jamaica: 30 days but not for all nationalities. Contact Jamaica immigration office or embassy/consulate in your country to find out if you're exempted from their visa.

  • Macedonia: 15 days if you hold C-type Schengen visa, still valid for another entry in Schengen area and must be valid for at least five days beyond your stay in a Schengen country.

  • Montenegro: 30 days stay allowed for holders of any Schengen visa.

  • Nicaragua: 90 days stay but not applicable to all nationalities. Contact Nicaragua immigration office or embassy/consulate in your country to find out if you'e exempted from their visa.

  • Philippines: 7 days stay for Indian and Chinese passport holders only.

  • Panama: 180 days stay allowed if your Schengen visa is valid for at least two more entries in Schengen area.

  • Romania: 90 days stay for holders of double or multiple entry C type Schengen visa.

  • <Serbia: 90 days for holders of any type Schengen visa.

  • <Sao Tome and Principe: 15 days for holders of any type Schengen visa.

  • Turkey:  Many nationalities can apply for Turkish visa online if they hold Schengen visa.
