Not only that, Amazon made effort to developer their own electronic products, which now have become some of the top-selling products in the world, specially in the US.

Amazon Kindle
Amazon Kindle is an electronic book (e-book) reader. This device lets you buy, download and read electronic books as well as magazines, newspapers and other digital media. You can download in it any e-book and read it. Moreover, if you purchase Amazon's Kindle Unlimited eBook subscription, which costs only $9.99 a month, you can read any book that is available on Amazon.

Amazon Fire TV
Amazon Fire TV is a media box that lets you stream music, games and videos to your TV. It lets you access 100s of apps like Amazon Prime, Netflix, Youtube and many others. It plugs into your TV's HDMI port and quickly you can start enjoying your TV more with enjoyment options for both the kids and adult.
It also has the Alexa app, so if you want to for example watch the news, you can say 'Alexa, play the news' and it will show you the news channel.
The Fire TV is available with three options - The Fire TV Cube, The Fire TV Stick and the Fire TV Stick 4K - all work the same way. The Cube basically sits somewhere in your room and connects to your TV. The Fire TV Stick is a USB flash-drive type stick that connects to the TV's USB port.
No cable, no problem. If you don't have TV cable, no problem, you watch TV with subscription to many media channels such as CNN, AMC, NBV, ESPN and many more

Amazon Fire Tablet
Amazon Fire Tablets are high performing tablets for everyone's use. These come with 32 and 64 GB of storage, and gives you up to 12 hours of battery time.
These were first launched in 2011 and since then a lot of enhancements have been made. Now, if you want to buy a tablet, the Amazon Fire Tablet are a very good choice, with a reasonable price tag.
The Fire tablets also have Alexa installed, which can play music, talks with you, tell jokes, set alarm and do many more interesting things.
The kids Fire tablets come with Amazon FreeTime Unlimited with at no additional cost. The FreeTime Unlimited lets you access 20,000 books, apps, games and TV shows.

Amazon Cloud Cam
This was discontinued in late 2019. Cloud Cam was basically surveillance camera with cloud-based (network based) activity monitoring app. So, after installing the cam somewhere, you would login to Amazon's cloud cam service online and access the video and audio stream coming from the cam.
Since Amazon discontinued it, its substitute is being sold on Amazon, it is called Wyze Cam. It also works with Alexa, so if you say to it "show me the left side of the living room", it will show that to you. You can check it out on Amazon.com here.
Amazon Echo
Nice name! What does Amazon Echo do? The Amazon Echo is a hands-free smart speaker. It does a number of things. For example when you say something at the device, the device will produce an echo that sounds the same as the original sound.
The more interesting things Echo do is that it connects with Alexa to play music, set alarms and timers, answer questions and control smart home devices like lights and fans. It will also stream songs from Amazon Music, Apple Music and more.
