Earlier I explained functions of TCP/IPadvantages of UDP over TCP, and advantages of TCP over UDP. Find here the real life uses of both TCP and UDP.

Example Uses of TCP Protocol:

  • Internet (HTTP)
  • Secure Shell (SSH)
  • Email (SMTP/IMAP/POP)
  • File transfer (FTP)
  • Internet banking
  • Remote access to network devices
  • SMS

Uses of UDP protocol:

  • Audio and video streaming
  • Voice over IP (VoIP)
  • Online gaming
  • Trivial File Transfer Protocol (TFTP)
  • Domain Name System (DNS)
  • Radio (AM)
  • WiFi
  • Video conference

These were the real life uses of UDP and TCP. There may be more uses of TCP and UDP, but with the examples above, I hope you now have understood the role of TCP and UDP well.

A keyboard acts as a mandatory hardware component in the computer system. In the earlier times when a device like a mouse or light pen was not present, keyword was the only source available to input data. Different types of keyboards are available that are chosen by users according to their preferences and requirements. These are mentioned below:

Lightened Keyboards
These key boards are very helpful when there is lack or no availability of light. As the user presses each key, a light glows that makes the particular key apparent. For instance if the user presses the letter “A”, a light will glow at the base of the keyboard. These key boards are very attractive and are mostly preferred by teenagers and students.
Check out one great LED light keyboard being sold at Amazon for a low price of only $28.99. Avail this offer now! See the keyboard details here.

Wireless Keyboards
These keyboards provide the factors of convenience and compatibility to the users as no wires are required. Wireless key boards work with the help sensors instead of wires and the users can sit on a comfortable couch instead of a hard chair facing the computer screen. The duration required to display the entered data on the computer screen is much shorter in these key boards as compared to the traditional ones. Amazon is selling Logitech wireless keyboards with free wireless mouse. QWERTY keyboards
Using keyboards on continuous basis can be damaging to the human wrists and finger joints. The bone joints loose calcium content and become brittle with the passage of time. QWERTY key boards are designed to minimize this effect. The layout of these keyboards is such that minimum stress is exerted on the hand joints. According to medical researches, QWERTY keyboards and quite effective in preventing the weakening of hand joints. Interested in QWERTY keyboard? Buy one for a low price here

MINI keyboards
These keyboards are smaller as well as lighter than a normal keyboard. They are similar to a laptop keyboard in terms of appearance and are preferred by laptop users mostly. It is hard for frequent laptop users to work on a desktop system. However a MINI keyboard makes the task comparatively easy. These keyboards are mostly wireless to provide a higher level of comfort. Advantages of TCP over UDP

I earlier explained advantages of UDP over TCP, find out below the advantages of TCP over UDP.

1. Data packets which get lost during transmission are sent again, thus ensuring complete information is sent.

2. TCP ensures no duplicate data is sent, hence also saves bandwidth.

3. Data is sent in the same order in which it is sent.

4. TCP breaks up data into Packets automatically for you.

Recommended Use of TCP

TCP is best used for sending emails (IMPAP/POP/SMTP) where every letter and word of the message must be sent and received. TCP is also important to use for FTP where file downloading and uploading requires every information of the file to be completely sent/received. In a secure connection, like SSH, TCP is also necessary where acknowledgement of sensitive information being fully sent and received is required.

While entering tasks in MS Project, we need to enter these in Auto Schedule Mode. However, the default Scheduling Mode in MS Project is Manual. Therefore, you have to manually change the mode to Auto Schedule for every activity before entering the tasks, and you have to do it every time you create a new project.

It will be easier and quicker to start entering tasks in without needing to change the mode to Auto Schedule manually, in the beginning. We can achieve that by changing the setting. There are two methods to do this:

Method 1: Change Scheduling Mode from Options

Step 1: Click on 'File' menu and then Options

Step 2: Click on the 'Schedule' tab at the left.

Step 3: Under 'Scheduling options for this project', click the drop-down option 'New tasks created', and select 'Auto Scheduled'

You're done.

Method 2: Change Mode from the 'Task' Ribbon

On the 'Task' ribbon, in the middle, there is a button named 'Mode', click on this button and select 'Auto Schedule'

That's it. Now when you will enter tasks, these will be entered with Auto Schedule mode.
